HK Dermatology is seeking a highly skilled and efficient Dermatology Scribe who is available to work from 8am to 3 pm to join our team. We are a fast-paced practice specializing in comprehensive medical and cosmetic dermatology. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to work closely with board-certified dermatologists, providing critical support to improve patient care and workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently document patient visits in real-time within the DrChrono EHR during appointments.
- Chart patient history, physical exam findings, diagnoses, procedures, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions.
- Manage and update patient records, ensuring completeness and compliance with all medical documentation standards.
- Assist with other clinical tasks, such as tracking lab and pathology results, handling prescription refills, and managing referrals.
- Organize and prepare patient charts for upcoming appointments.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while working closely with both patients and providers.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Medical Scribe, preferably in a dermatology setting.
- Someone without availability to work 8am to 3pm on M, Tu, Th AND F.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy for real-time documentation.
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology, especially as it relates to dermatology.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm and efficient in a high-volume clinical environment.
- Commitment to maintaining strict patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliant).
- Dr. Chrono experience is a plus.
