We are seeking a consultant with demonstrated experience identifying and resolving operating authority activation delays, navigating FMCSA Licensing & Insurance processes, and coordinating with insurance providers, carrier onboarding platforms, and regulatory stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Review existing FMCSA filings and operating authority status
- Identify root cause of pending authority
- Coordinate with FMCSA Licensing & Insurance, insurance representatives, and onboarding vendors
- Execute appropriate escalation strategies
- Provide daily status updates and recommendations
- Deliver written documentation of findings and actions taken
Required Experience
- FMCSA Operating Authority
- DOT Compliance
- Carrier Registration
- Transportation Regulatory Compliance
- BOC-3 / Insurance Filings
- Licensing & Insurance processes
Preferred
- Former FMCSA employee
- Transportation attorney
- Transportation compliance consultant
- RMIS or carrier onboarding experience
- Experience resolving authorities that remained in pending status despite completed filings
