Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will operate a tri-axle dump trucks to transport asphalt, sand, rock and dirt. You must ensure timely delivery and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience operating dump trucks, a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations with a priority on safety, and self motivated.
Duties
- Safely operate tri-axle dump truck to transport materials to various construction sites.
- Transport construction materials including asphalt, rock, and sand to designated locations on-site or between sites. This position will primarily consist of paving and stock piling asphalt plants in middle Tennessee.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on dump trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance, while reporting issues as needed.
- Follow all federal construction safety regulations and traffic laws during daily operations.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours, material deliveries, and safety inspections while adhering to site protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required with 5+ years tri-axle driving experience. Subject to MVR review.
- Strong knowledge of navigation skills.
- Ability to work independently or as a team, when needed.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to safety.
- Hourly pay will depend on experience.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
