What You'll Do
-
Assist with the daily operations of the apartment community.

Complete annual and interim HUD recertifications accurately and on time.

Maintain resident files and ensure compliance with HUD regulations.

Process resident paperwork and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Assist with leasing activities, apartment tours, and application processing.
-
Welcome and assist walk-in traffic while answering incoming phone calls.

Respond to resident concerns professionally and help resolve issues.

Support the Property Manager with administrative and operational responsibilities.

Maintain accurate records using property management software.
Qualifications
Required:
-
Previous Assistant Property Manager or Leasing experience in multifamily housing.

Experience completing HUD recertifications.

Knowledge of HUD regulations and affordable housing compliance.

Strong customer service and communication skills.
-
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred:

Experience with Section 8 or other affordable housing programs.

COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist) Certification.
