The Hellenic Classical Charter Schools are public charter schools located in Brooklyn (HCCS-PS) and Staten Island (HCCS-SI). HCCS provides a classics based education in the study of humanities and literature for students in Pre-Kindergarten to 8th grades.

Seeking Elementary Classroom Teacher: 7:45 am start - Great time and attendance, good work ethic, team player, learner, compassionate, good communication skills, positive attitude, energetic and good classroom management skills.
The Greek Language Teacher will be responsible for:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality Greek language lessons that align with the curriculum and learning objectives.
- Teaching students of varying ages and proficiency levels in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Greek.
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, instructional materials, and classroom activities.
- Assessing student progress through quizzes, tests, assignments, projects, and classroom participation.
- Providing timely, constructive feedback to support student learning and improvement.
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, performance, and academic progress.
- Creating a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and confidence in language learning.
- Incorporating Greek culture, literature, history, and traditions into instruction to enhance students' cultural understanding.
- Differentiating instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and individual student needs.
- Communicating effectively with students, parents, and school administrators regarding student progress and classroom expectations.
- Participating in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.
- Ensuring classroom resources and instructional materials are organized, current, and effectively utilized.
- Supporting school policies and contributing to the overall mission and educational goals of the institution.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in language instruction or related degree
- Fingerprint clearance

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
