Job position – Supply Chain & Logistics Analyst
Job Location – O’Fallon, Saint Louis, Missouri
Your responsibilities will include:
· Track and reorder daily essentials (linens, amenities, food/beverage stock, auto parts) for hotels, liquor stores, and restaurants & auto mobiles.
· Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and local vendors.
· Maintain a centralized database of vendors and purchase history across all businesses.
· Coordinate liquor and food procurement across outlets with compliance to local laws.
· Monitor inventory levels manually and data compilation for hotels, restaurant kitchens, and liquor stores.
· Establish minimum stock thresholds and reorder points to avoid overstock/stockouts.
· Perform monthly audits and physical stock reconciliations for all business units.
· Assist with liquor license-based inventory limits and rotation cycles.
· Assist in designing the layout and operational flow of the new warehouse.
· Create material movement logs and optimize storage space for linen, beverages, F&B items, and cleaning supplies.
· Set up delivery/pick-up schedules between warehouse and individual business outlets.
· Plan cost-effective last-mile logistics (e.g., for liquor store deliveries or bulk hotel shipments).
· Prepare weekly Management Information System (MIS) reports for:
o Purchase vs consumption trends
o Vendor performance
o Inventory holding cost
o Logistics costs across outlets
· Create basic dashboards in Excel or Google Sheets to visualize purchasing trends.
· Present cost-saving suggestions to the business owner.
· Analyze monthly spend patterns and suggest bundled or bulk procurement options.
· Forecast seasonal demand (e.g., wedding bookings, festive liquor sales) to inform sourcing and staffing.
· Track food/beverage wastage to reduce cost overruns in restaurants.
· Streamline coordination between front-desk, housekeeping, and kitchen for smoother operations.
· Draft and implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for procurement and inventory handling.
· Support operations at Ford Groves (auto dealership) by ensuring timely procurement of promotional materials, accessories, and hospitality items.
JOB Requirements:
· Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management , Logistics , Operations , or Business Administration (preferred and required for visa eligibility)
· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement, inventory control, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations (domestic or international)
· Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, inventory formulas)
· Familiarity with MIS reporting and manual tracking systems (since no ERP is in use)
· Bonus: Experience using procurement software, Google Sheets dashboards, or inventory tools
· Ability to manage purchasing, tracking, and vendor communication across multiple business units
· Skill in conducting cost analysis and identifying savings opportunities
· Understanding of warehouse layout, item categorization, and reorder points
· Ability to work with delivery schedules , handle multiple product types (food, liquor, linens, auto parts), and optimize logistics
· Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal teams
· Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
· Problem-solving mindset to improve supply chain efficiency
· Flexibility to work across business units (hotel, liquor store, warehouse, auto showroom)
· Ability to work independently and report directly to the business owner
