Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. The Machine Operator is responsible for surveying field crews while safely operating heavy construction equipment to complete a roadway and drainage rehabilitation projects efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with company safety standards.
Duties
· Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews
· Operate heavy equipment including excavators and skid steers
· Plan and assign daily work tasks to crew members
· Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, grades, and project specifications
· Monitor job progress to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements
· Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment
· Identify equipment repairs and coordinate maintenance as needed
· Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and customers
· Maintain accurate daily reports, equipment logs, and time records
Minimum Requirements
· Excavator Operator: minimum 5 years of experience with reference
· Skid Steer Operator: minimum 5 years of experience with reference
Pay
$35.00/hour
Pay: $35.00 per hour
