We're searching for some dependable, motivated and detail oriented individuals to help us produce and package our gourmet butter and organic milk products in our facility in beautiful Hamilton, NY.
The production worker job is a physical job that includes long periods of standing (often at a hustling pace) and periodic lifting of 30-50lbs.
Responsibilities:
- operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
- ensure product meets company standards and specifications
- process, package, label, box, and palletize products
- maintain production records
- clean equipment and production areas
- safely handle raw food materials and finished products
Skills:
- solid work ethic with a positive attitude
- ability to work independently and in a team environment
- ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
- dependable and punctual attendance
- able to stand for extended periods of time
- able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- experience with CIP and separator operation a plus
Starting pay based on experience with potential increase after 4 week evaluation. Position is varied time, 25-40 hours a week over 3-5 days per week depending on incoming milk, outgoing orders and cleaning needed. Typical shifts are 6-8 hrs. per day, up to 12 hrs as needed. Weekly schedules posted on ________, with consideration given to employees' personal schedules.
Ability to work with a team and keep a positive attitude are a must. CLEANING and FOOD SAFETY are a priority and will be a required.
This is a 100% Nut Free facility.
Pay: $19.50 - $25.50 per hour
