Position Overview
We’re looking for a highly motivated Driver/Detailer who wants to learn the golf cart industry from the ground up. This role is perfect for someone who loves staying busy, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in making every golf cart look its best before it heads to its new home.
You’ll be the final touch before delivery—cleaning, detailing, and presenting the cart to the customer—so communication skills, a friendly attitude, and attention to detail are a must.
When deliveries or detailing slow down, you’ll shift into a utility/“Swiss Army Knife” role around the shop to help keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Customer-Facing Duties
- Deliver golf carts to customers with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Communicate clearly, answer basic questions, and ensure a great delivery experience
- Serve as the “face” of Welch’s Golf Carts at the customer’s door
Detailing & Preparation
- Wash and detail carts to a showroom shine before delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash/detail area
- Inspect carts for any cosmetic issues prior to loading
Shop Support (Utility Role)
- Load mulch and assist with various material handling tasks
- Fill propane tanks safely and efficiently
- Help technicians keep service areas clean and organized
- Assist with occasional inventory checks
- Jump into miscellaneous tasks that keep the shop running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- Great attitude and team-first mindset
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with customers
- Willingness to learn the golf cart industry—experience is a bonus but not required
- Able to work independently and stay productive
- No CDL required, but you must:
- Have a clean driving record
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be comfortable driving a truck and trailer (training provided)
Schedule
- Full-time: 5 days per week
- Some Saturdays required during busy periods
