System One is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team in Richland, WA. This is an outstanding contract-to-hire opportunity for a skilled machinist looking to build a long-term career with a global leader in the nuclear energy industry.
$32-$47 an hour based upon experience

- Occasional travel to nuclear sites
- Set up and operate CNC and conventional lathes, mills, grinders, heat treat furnaces, and saw equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings, solid models, blueprints, and specifications to manufacture high-precision components.
- Support fabrication of components used in nuclear fuel assemblies.
- Perform machine setup, troubleshooting, and precision machining.
- Maintain quality documentation and inspection records.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist other manufacturing areas as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of CNC machining or related experience.
- Machine Technology Certificate preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and precision machining skills.
- Experience with shop inspection tools and quality measurements.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, jigs, and manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication, dependability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
