A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Seattle office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing public owners, developers, architects, engineers, and design professionals in sophisticated construction disputes and complex construction projects.
- 3–5 years of construction litigation experience
- Experience representing public owners, developers, architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and/or design professionals preferred
- Experience handling complex construction disputes, claims, and litigation matters
- Experience drafting and negotiating construction contracts and related project documentation is strongly preferred
- Experience with pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management strongly preferred
- Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials required
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
- Washington bar admission required or ability to waive in via motion, reciprocity, or UBE transfer
