On-Site Hose Inc is a family-owned local business based out of Apex, NC.
Here at On-Site Hose, we specialize in the fabrication and installation of hydraulic hoses and fittings on heavy machinery. We have a large amount of customers who call us out to do work on site; However, we still maintain a large quantity of customers that come into our office for hose replacements/repairs.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 4 years of experience working in a mechanical inventory management field ( hydraulics a plus ). Ongoing training is provided.
Daily Tasks:
- Assist technicians with identifying , pulling, preparing and processing parts for shipments.
- Ability to work in a team environment and build positive synergies
- Excellent customer service
- Manage inventory and ordering from assigned wholesale suppliers and their line of products
- Keep organized records of supplier transactions
- Excellent computer skills - QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
- Maintain inventory on shelves in clean and properly labeled bins
- Back up in assembly shop as required.
- Other specific tasks as assigned by the Shop Manager
- Schedule is Monday - Friday 7am to 5pm and one Saturday a month from 7am to 12pm (after training is completed)
Process Improvement:
- Develop tracking forms and measures to increase the accuracy of inventory counts
Skills Required:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Excellent communications skills, E-mailing and working productively with vendors
- An affinity for numbers with excellent memorization skills
- Be comfortable in working in a warehouse environment
- Exhibit excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to lift packages up to 60 pounds repetitively
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $18.00 - $22/per hour
