Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Supervisor for our Sawmill-Wood Products Manufacturing team. In this role, you will lead daily operations within the sawmill environment, ensuring efficient production, adherence to safety standards, and high-quality wood products. You will oversee machine operation, coordinate team activities, and implement manufacturing best practices to optimize workflow. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, maintain safety compliance, and foster a productive work environment focused on precision and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
Experience working in a sawmill or similar environment
Knowledge and skill set to operate sawmill machinery, woodworking machinery, including but not limited to operating saws, planers and other equipment
Assisting in the maintenance and repair of equipment
Manage customer work orders from start to completion and delivery/shipment of product
Responsible for new hire training
Ability to manage and conduct required annual training relating to employees' safety regulations and compliance requirements
Possess a clean driving record. A CDL license is helpful, but not required
Possess knowledge and skill to safely run heavy equipment including but not limited to:
Skid Steer
Dump Truck
Forklift
Lull
Maintains workplace cleanliness and safety protocols
Snow plowing
Attention to detail and strength to lift heavy objects

Pay: $51,605.37 - $62,148.40 per year
