We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex accounting functions, ensure compliance with industry standards, and contribute to the financial health of our organization. Duties
- Manage general ledger accounting processes, including account reconciliation and journal entries using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliation activities to maintain accurate financial records
- Conduct accounts payable and accounts receivable functions with precision, ensuring timely processing of invoices and collections
- Support regulatory reporting requirements for governmental and non-profit entities
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making
Experience
- Proven experience in corporate accounting within diverse environments such as public accounting firms or governmental agencies
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and account analysis
- Demonstrated expertise in financial report writing, cash management, and account reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with accounting software QuickBooks, or equivalent financial management tools
- Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting requirements for non-profit organizations or government entities is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills coupled with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders
