Position Overview
Schedule: 10-30 hours per week, including at least one weekend day
Season: Mid-September through October
Type: Seasonal/Temporary, Part-Time
Compensation: $12-15/hr + October Weekend Bonus [we welcome first time workers]
Job Description
Join our admissions team as the welcoming face of Sweet Eats Fruit Farm! In this outdoor role (under covered areas), you'll greet guests, provide exceptional customer service, and assist with ticketing and retail operations. This position involves minimal indoor tasks and focuses on creating positive first impressions for all farm visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide outstanding customer service
- Assist with ticket purchases and admissions processing
- Answer guest inquiries and provide farm information
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Manage crowd flow during peak periods
- Scan tickets and operate POS systems
- Handle guest concerns professionally and courteously
- Restock general store merchandise
- Weigh pumpkins for purchase
Requirements
- Availability for 10-30 hours per week with at least one weekend shift
- Physical ability to sit, stand, stoop, and lift 25-50 pounds
- Comfortable being on your feet throughout your shift
- Enthusiasm for working with children and families
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Clear, projecting voice for sharing farm information with groups
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
