DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position focuses on supervising nursing staff, coordinating care practices, and supporting resident needs at the South Mountain Restoration Center. You will help maintain quality care by guiding staff, reviewing services, and strengthening communication across the team. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:
- Care Oversight: Review nursing services and support resident advocacy across care areas
- Team Leadership: Mentor staff, promote teamwork, and provide daily guidance to nursing personnel
- Communication Tasks: Share information with staff, families, and administrators as needed
- Record Management: Maintain reports, evaluations, and documentation related to nursing operations
- Staff Development: Participate in Nursing and Facility Performance Improvement activities, provide ongoing education, and encourage employee involvement
- Quality Improvement: Take part in performance activities and help strengthen facility practices

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM), with a 30-minute lunch. You will have rotating on and off duty days including weekends and holidays.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.
Special Requirements:
- You must possess active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
