ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:
Specific Duties and Essential Functions
- Monitor the Electronic Security System (ESS) for various alarms and alarm types.
- Monitor the CCTV system for suspicious activity.
- Answer emergency and non-emergency phone calls
- Report via phone call when police or emergency services are required.
- Use and monitor various radios and other communication devices
- Assist in incident investigations
- Conduct foot and mobile patrols
- Perform various daily, weekly, and monthly security audits
- Participate in base wide performance evaluations
- Operate the base wide Emergency Notification System as required
- Make detailed Desk Journal reports
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
- Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office

- Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively

Type of Experience Preferred
- Military, Law Enforcement, or Security experience.

Scheduling and Availability
Shifts are 8 hours. Due to the 24/7 nature of this job, the more flexibility you have the better.

Physical Requirements and Environment
Environment: Indoors and outdoors
·Major activity: Working on PC while sitting, telephone use, foot and/or vehicle patrols.
· Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Sitting, standing, crouching, walking, bending, stretching, and reaching. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and be able to get in and out of a vehicle multiple times per shift.
