Job description
In the position as Field Service Technician, you will receive the opportunity to utilize your technical and electro-mechanical experience to perform installations, planned inspections and maintenance, as well as on-call troubleshooting on chip-making machines, conveyors, filtration systems, and machine tools.
Your passion for inspecting and repairing complex machinery will be crucial to your success with the company. With a comprehensive onboarding program in the USA and Germany, you will supplement your knowledge about all aspects of high precision machine tools and their automation in various industries. Equipped with this knowledge, you will provide customers with expert advice and services on their installations, maintenance, spare parts, process, and all other facets of the company’s machinery.
Candidate profile
· Technical education or equivalent work experience; Electrical certification preferred
· 3+ years of field service experience with electro-mechanical equipment
· Preference for experience with chip-making machines, conveyors, and filtration systems
· Good understanding of machine tools, hand tools, and welding preferred
· Solid understanding of PLCs preferred
· Able to read electrical schematics
· Analytical and troubleshooting skills
· Proven self-starter who can work independently
· Strong customer service skills
· Willing and able to travel approximately 80% of the time (domestic and international)
· Good knowledge of MS Office
· Current driver’s license and passport
