Professionalism & Attitude
- Arrive on time, in full uniform, ready to work.
- Maintain a calm, focused, and professional attitude — even during rushes.
- Work clean, organized, and efficiently at all times.
- Respect all coworkers and communicate clearly and respectfully.
Station Setup & Readiness
- Arrive in enough time to have your station fully set before service.
- Ensure all mise en place is fresh, labeled, and properly stored.
- Stock backup items for service — anticipate high-volume needs.
- Confirm equipment and tools are clean, functional, and in place.
Execution & Quality Control
- Follow recipes, plating guides, and chef’s direction exactly.
- Cook all food to proper temperature and doneness.
- Check presentation and portion before sending any plate.
- Never serve food you wouldn’t be proud to eat yourself.
Communication & Teamwork
- Call out tickets clearly and confirm with expo or other cooks.
- Communicate when items are 86’d, running low, or delayed.
- Assist teammates during high-volume times — never leave someone hanging.
- Maintain clear communication between FOH and BOH through expo.
Cleanliness & Organization
- Keep your station spotless throughout service.
- Follow all sanitation and safety standards — clean as you go.
- Complete all end-of-shift cleaning and restocking duties.
- Help ensure kitchen closing procedures are followed properly.
Time Management & Efficiency
- Prioritize tickets correctly — work with urgency and accuracy.
- Manage multiple tickets while maintaining quality and speed.
- Be proactive during downtime (restock, prep, clean).
- Communicate immediately if you’re falling behind.
Safety & Compliance
- Use knives and hot equipment safely at all times.
- Follow ServSafe and local health department regulations.
- Store food properly — label, date, and rotate using FIFO.
- Report any injuries, safety hazards, or broken equipment immediately.
Accountability
- Take ownership of your station, prep, and quality.
- Show up ready to work and complete your sidework before leaving.
- Ask questions when unsure — never guess.
- Take pride in every plate leaving your station.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
