Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic Bellhop to join our team at Sebasco Harbor Resort. This is a Full Time (May - October) position located in Phippsburg, Maine. This role requires individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to upholding our high standards of guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and service.
Work Performed
As a Bellhop, you will be the first and last resort team member many guests interact with, and you play a key role in delivering an outstanding guest experience. You will assist guests with luggage, provide information about the resort and local area, and ensure smooth arrival and departure experiences for all visitors

Guest Assistance: Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival and departure.

Luggage Service: Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting guest luggage to and from rooms.

Resort Orientation: Provide directions, key information about resort amenities, and answer general guest inquiries.

Valet Support: Coordinate with valet and front desk staff to facilitate seamless guest transitions.

Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized bellstand and lobby area; ensure safe handling of luggage and guest belongings.

Communication: Relay guest requests and special needs to appropriate departments (front desk, housekeeping, concierge, etc.).

Transport Coordination: Assist with arranging transportation services upon request (taxis, ride shares, shuttles).

Additional Duties: Perform other guest-service related duties as assigned by management.

Perform duties as outlined in the training procedures, following standard operating procedures

Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
Requirements

Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced work environment while on your feet for 4-8 hours

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Possess good communication and organizational skills to work with a team

High school education or equivalent experience

Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation

Lifting up to 50 lbs. limited/Pushing up to 50 lbs

Must be able to work independently

Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times

Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays Must be able to work onsite at the hotel location

Hours required: Full Time 20-40 hours per week; Must be flexible

Proficiency in the English language
Additional Preferred Skills/Qualities

Second language is a plus, preferably Spanish or French
Compensation
$16 Hourly
