We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time night shift position.
The PICU at Wolfson Children’s has achieved gold-level status by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. This means excellence in quality and safety, outstanding outcomes, parent satisfaction and a healthy environment. As a Registered Nurse for the PICU, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Providing patient care to pediatric population utilizing all aspects of the nursing process

Supervision of care provided by supportive personnel

Coordination of care provided by ancillary services
-
Including patients and families in developing and individualized plan of care
-
Education of patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
-
Serve as the patient advocate and responsible for providing care for critical patients that require a higher acuity of care

Uphold the hospital mission statement

Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities
Experience Requirements:
-
1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
-
1-2 years Telemetry Experience
-
Hospital Experience
Education & Credential Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
-
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
-
Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
-
Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
-
Licensed Registered Nurse Required
