Gas Turbine Package Design Engineer

Seeking Mechanical Engineers with experience designing and integrating mobile or modular gas turbine systems for power generation applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience with gas turbine or turbomachinery system design
- Experience writing engineering specifications for mobile and modular gas turbine systems
- Experience with gas turbine packaging and auxiliary equipment integration
- Strong knowledge of power generation applications
- Experience with packaged, mobile, or modular equipment design
- Familiarity with API, ASME, ISO, and IEC standards
Responsibilities
- Design and integrate gas turbine power generation systems
- Develop mechanical layouts and general arrangement drawings
- Perform rotor dynamics, thermal, vibration, stress, and fatigue analysis
- Define interfaces for auxiliary systems including lube oil, fuel gas, intake, exhaust, and cooling
- Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and equipment requisitions
- Support technical bid evaluations and vendor selection
Preferred
- Experience with Solar, GE, or Siemens gas turbines
- Experience with thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, instrumentation, controls, and vibration analysis tools

- Reliability engineering only
- Maintenance-focused rotating equipment backgrounds
- Field engineering only
