We are an industrial distributor, specializing in precision measuring instrument sales, service and calibration, currently seeking an Expeditor/ Purchasing and Sales Support Assistant to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Support purchase order processing and acknowledgment workflows
- Receive and review order acknowledgments for accuracy
- Ensure products and orders are tracked, updated, and delivered on time
- Track orders from placement to fulfillment
- Document and update customer and vendor records based on interactions
- Communicate with vendors and customers regarding order status
- Communicate with management regarding delays or discrepancies
- Assist with generating service quotes and order acknowledgments
- Support management and sales staff with various clerical duties related to purchasing and customer service
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of Administrative, Customer Service, Customer Support, Sales Support, Logistics, Purchasing, Account Management or similar related experienc
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated with a strong desire for task completion and follow-up
- Multi-task oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
