Position Overview
DiamondBack’s Fine Dining Steakhouse is seeking an experienced, organized, and hospitality-driven Private Events Manager to oversee and execute exceptional private dining and banquet experiences. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in both guest-facing and operational environments and understands the level of detail and service expected in fine dining.
While this role is not primarily responsible for generating or booking private events, the Private Events Manager will play an active role in supporting sales efforts, cultivating relationships, and helping grow banquet and private dining business through community engagement and networking opportunities.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about creating seamless guest experiences from planning through execution.
Essential Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Coordination
- Manage all details for private events after initial booking has been secured
- Consult with clients to finalize event details including menu selections, room setup, timeline, bar packages, special requests, and guest expectations
- Prepare and maintain accurate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event documentation
- Collect final guest counts/guarantees by established deadlines
- Review finalized details with clients and obtain signatures on completed Banquet Event Orders
- Ensure all event information is communicated accurately to management and operational teams
Operations & Event Execution
- Coordinate event staffing requirements with management
- Oversee event setup and ensure banquet spaces are prepared according to specifications
- Ensure all food, beverage, bar, and service details are executed properly
- Serve as the primary point of contact during events and proactively resolve issues as needed
- Monitor event flow to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Assist in maintaining fine dining service standards throughout all functions
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate event billing and invoices
- Collect deposits, guarantees, and final payment information when applicable
- Review charges for accuracy and ensure proper billing procedures are followed
- Maintain organized records of event documentation and communications
Business Development & Community Engagement
- Support growth of private dining and banquet business through relationship building and community involvement
- Attend networking opportunities, community events, and local functions to increase awareness and build future business opportunities
- Identify opportunities to strengthen repeat business and client relationships
- Partner with restaurant leadership on strategies to increase private event revenue
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in banquet management, private events, hospitality sales support, restaurant management, or event coordination required
- Fine dining or upscale hospitality experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication and guest service abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly
- Experience with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), event detailing, and billing processes preferred
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands

Pay: $59,433.63 - $71,575.98 per year
