Position Overview
We’re hiring 1099 independent contractor Physicians (MD/DO) and Nurse Practitioners (NP/CRNP/ARNP) with multistate licensure to provide telehealth visits to patients nationally. This is a fully remote contract opportunity ideal for clinicians who want to work on their own schedule and deliver excellent virtual care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient visits via video/phone using the YourEra telehealth platform.
- Assess patients for suitability for GLP‑1–based weight‑loss therapy, establish diagnoses and manage treatment plans (including medication selection, dosing, monitoring, and follow‑up) consistent with your licensure and specialty.
- Provide patient education and follow-up care plans.
- Document encounters thoroughly and in a timely manner in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure quality and continuity of care.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal telehealth regulations and practice guidelines.
Requirements
- Valid multistate medical license with the ability to practice in and other states as required.
- Proven experience as a physician treating patients directly, with post-residency clinical practice background.
- Strong understanding of EMR/EHR systems, medical records management, and electronic health records management best practices.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations including HIPAA, FDA regulations, DEA regulations, and NCQA standards.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and pharmacology essential for effective patient care.
