American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with adult ICU and general care experience for a night shift travel assignment at an academic medical center.

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30

Every other weekend required

Floating is required

Holiday coverage expected for approximately 50% of holidays during the contract

Cerner charting experience preferred but not required

Active RRT license required; license must be active (MO or Compact) prior to consideration

Minimum 2 years of overall respiratory therapy experience, with at least 1 year in the specialty

Adult ICU and general care experience required

2 professional references required

Must be able to perform physical duties including ambulating, reaching, and lifting objects weighing 20 lbs or more

License required if applicable

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced rate

Pending license will be accepted for this position

Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront

This is an active, physical role in a 24/7 healthcare facility that may involve exposure to contagious illnesses

Rotating shifts, holiday coverage, and availability during inclement weather are expected
