We are seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about luxury retail, enjoys creating engaging content, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview
The Marketing & Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing marketing initiatives and events that strengthen Daoud’s Fine Jewelry’s brand across digital, print, and in-store channels. This position will work closely with management to promote our jewelry collections, luxury watches, special events, custom design services, and estate buying division while maintaining a consistent luxury brand image.
The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms.
· Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
· Plan and schedule social media content while monitoring engagement and responding when appropriate.
· Capture and coordinate photography and video of jewelry, luxury watches, store events, and behind-the-scenes content.
· Write compelling marketing copy for social media, email campaigns, advertisements, website content, and promotional materials.
· Coordinate email marketing campaigns and customer communications.
· Plan and execute in-store events, charity events, community partnerships, and other promotional experiences.
· Coordinate event vendors, timelines, invitations, guest lists, décor, catering, and on-site logistics.
· Assist with event promotion before, during, and after each event.
· Update website content, featured collections, and promotional banners.
· Coordinate advertising with magazines, local publications, radio, and digital media partners.
· Work with vendors to obtain marketing assets, product information, and promotional materials.
· Monitor marketing analytics, social media performance, website traffic, and campaign effectiveness.
· Assist with maintaining brand consistency across all marketing channels.
· Stay current on jewelry, luxury watch, fashion, event, and social media trends to recommend new opportunities.
· Support additional marketing, event, and administrative projects as needed.
· Saturdays and some evenings required
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
· Two or more years of marketing, social media, or event coordination experience preferred.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organizational, event-planning, and project-management abilities.
· Experience with social media platforms and content creation.
· Familiarity with AI, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar design software is a plus.
· Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or Klaviyo is preferred.
· Knowledge of Google Business Profile, SEO, and website content management is a plus.
· Photography and videography experience is highly desirable.
· Experience in luxury retail, jewelry, fashion, hospitality, or events is preferred but not required.
· Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects.
