Current Assignment
The San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) is seeking a strategic and collaborative Principal Administrative Analyst to support high-priority initiatives that advance the District's operational and organizational goals.
This position leads complex administrative and analytical projects, conducts research and policy analysis, develops recommendations for executive leadership, and collaborates across departments to improve business processes, resource management, and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is an analytical problem solver with exceptional communication and project management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises sound judgment, and effectively manages multiple priorities while building strong partnerships with stakeholders throughout the District.

The selection process for this position may include one or more of the following: a skills or performance demonstration, written examination, and/or panel or individual interview.

Education:
Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
Four (4) years of (full-time equivalent) verifiable administrative, analytical and/or budgetary experience which must have included at least one (1) year of administrative and/or lead supervisory experience.
Substitution:
Additional professional administrative, analytical and/or budgetary experience, as outlined above, may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis.
