Established precision machine shop seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain and troubleshoot CNC machining equipment and support shop operations.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC mills, lathes, and shop equipment
- Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Maintain coolant systems, lubrication systems, and air systems
- Repair or replace motors, pumps, sensors, switches, belts, bearing, etc.
- Support operators and programmers with machine-related issues
- Coordinate outside service vendors when needed
- Help minimize machine downtime and keep production running efficiently
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in CNC machine shop enviroments
- Familiarity with Fanuc, or similar controls
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of 3-phase power and industrial electrical systems
- Welding/fabrication experience is a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts and basic shop equipment preferred
