This is an ongoing recruitment. After an application is submitted, the Theater and Building Rentals Coordinator will contact applicants for interviews on an as-needed basis.
Hourly Rate: $22.00 per hour
Work Week: Less than 15 hours a week
Benefits: There are no benefits associated with this position
Duties:

Provide general technical and event supervision at theatre facilities within the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District.

Assist with maintenance, upkeep, adaptation, and renovation of theatrical facilities.

Assist users with interfacing with the facility and theatre equipment, ensuring safety guidelines are followed.
Qualifications:

Must have experience with one or more of the following: rigging, lighting, scenic constructions, sound, multi-media, or other related areas

Must be familiar with most technical aspects of theatrical productions

Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, be on feet for many hours, and be capable of working at heights over 40 feet.

Reliable transportation and a current Alaska driver's license are required.
