We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic bartenders to join our team. We’re a new restaurant opening in the heart of downtown next to Louisville Actor’s Theatre. As a bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional drink experiences for our guests while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
This job is perfect for someone looking for part-time work or wants flexibility in their schedule as the restaurant only opens with Actor’s Theatre. Days are Wednesday to Sunday, and will typically have 1-2 weeks off between show runs. Bartender experience required. Bartenders make $8/hour, plus tips.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.
- Engage with customers to take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, ensuring all sales are recorded properly.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management for timely replenishment.
- Follow all safety and health regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support food service operations as needed during busy periods or special events.
