About the Opportunity
ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Psychologist or School Counselor to join a supportive school district in Crescent City, California for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time opportunity focuses on providing counseling services, completing evaluations, and collaborating with school teams to support student success. There is potential for the position to expand into additional hours based on district needs.
Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
Complete initial and triennial evaluations.
Conduct behavior consultations and collaborate with school teams to develop effective intervention strategies.
Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional well-being.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Qualifications
Active California School Psychologist or School Counselor credential/licensure (or ability to obtain prior to the start date).
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Previous school-based experience preferred.
