Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience and/ knowledge working with students with diverse learning needs. This role involves creating an inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth for all students. Candidate must be able to teach math, plan engaging lessons, facilitate discussions, manage classroom behavior, and utilize data to support instructional decisions.
Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that accommodate the learning needs and abilities of all students
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student's education.
- Utilize learning technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
- Foster literacy education through tailored reading programs and activities.
- Support students in developing social skills and emotional regulation
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress towards educational goals.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in ela and math
- Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Elementar/Childhood Education.
- Valid NYS teaching certification in Childhood Education 1-6.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive environment for all learners.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and childhood education principles.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience in behavioral management techniques and understanding of childhood development principles.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $67,691.21 - $81,520.61 per year
