We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant dining team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to maintain a clean and organized environment
- Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to optimize seating arrangements and reduce wait times
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong background in customer service, guest relations, and sales techniques including upselling
- Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food industry terminology and basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
- Prior host/hostess or serving experience that highlights excellent communication skills and hospitality expertise
