Piebird Restaurant & Bar at the DoubleTree by Hilton Nanuet is looking for an experienced bartender with natural leadership ability to join our team as a Bartender — Floor Lead.
This is a dual role — you'll work the bar during service while also serving as the floor lead in the absence of the F&B Manager. It's a great fit for someone who loves bartending but is ready to take on more responsibility and grow within a Hilton-branded concept that's getting noticed.
What you'll do
- Bartend during breakfast, dinner, and weekend brunch service
- Serve as floor lead in the absence of the F&B Manager
- Own weekend brunch bar service (Saturday and Sunday, 11AM–2PM) once launched
- Support and coach FOH team during service
- Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Execute signature cocktails, wine service, and beer program with consistency
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Communicate daily with F&B Manager on service notes and guest feedback
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or hotel setting
- Natural leadership presence — someone the team looks to
- Strong cocktail knowledge and guest-facing communication skills
- Ability to manage the floor calmly during busy service periods
- Flexible availability including weekends
- Hotel or upscale casual dining background a plus
- POS experience preferred (Oracle Simphony a plus)
