Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Lead Bartender to elevate our bar service to new heights. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily bar operations, lead a team of bartenders, and ensure an exceptional guest experience. Your expertise in mixology, customer service, and hospitality will help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. As a key team leader, you will manage beverage preparation, uphold food safety standards, and drive sales through engaging interactions and efficient service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the bartending team to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced environment, including nightclubs, fine dining settings, or banquet events
- Oversee all aspects of bar operations, including beverage preparation, inventory management, and cleanliness standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Use POS systems to process orders accurately and efficiently while managing cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking serving requests, and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders during busy periods while maintaining high-quality service standards
- Assist with catering and banquet setups when needed, ensuring seamless coordination for large events
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender with a strong background in food industry settings such as restaurants, nightclubs, or catering events
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous experience supervising or leading a team in a hospitality environment
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly preferred
- Extensive knowledge of beverage recipes, brewing techniques, and cocktail presentation
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Experience working in fine dining establishments or banquet environments is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and food safety calculations
