Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, skilled in implementing ABA strategies, and thrives in a collaborative, relationship-focused environment. You’ll play a vital role in helping children achieve developmental milestones while fostering trust, joy, and progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in clinic, home, or community settings
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) with fidelity and compassion
- Accurately collect and record data on targeted behaviors and skill acquisition
- Collaborate with BCBAs and clinical team to adjust strategies based on data
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for all clients
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all interactions
Required Qualifications
- Active RBT certification through the BACB (or willing to obtain within 90 days of start date)
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in psychology or education preferred)
- Experience working with children, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Ability to follow structured protocols while remaining flexible and empathetic
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Clear background check and current CPR certification
