Lemle & Wolff Construction Corp. is seeking a Assistant Project Manager in connection with commercial construction projects in New York City, including ground-up multi-family and rehabilitation projects. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, demonstrate capabilities and grow within a dynamic company working on exciting and meaningful projects. The Assistant Project Manager works closely with the Project Manager in planning and executing projects from start to finish. The APM reports to the Project Manager and works onsite at assigned projects to observe work, coordinate with people onsite and support other project team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers in the planning and oversight of construction projects and achieving goals related to the timely delivery of completion targets and cost management
- Support the preparation of project needs, including scheduling, budgeting and procurement and in implementing a variety of project tasks
- Communication and coordination with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and others to ensure projects have the resources as needed and deadlines are met
- Monitor construction activities in connection with work progress, safety standards, building codes, quality and time and cost considerations
- Organization and maintenance of project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals and related logs, daily reports and logs, and orientation and onboarding packages
- Attend project meetings, track project progress and assist in preparing minutes and status reports
- Ensure necessary permits are obtained, organized and tracked
- Maintain daily onsite presence at assigned jobsites to observe work, coordinate with people onsite and support other project staff
- Take initiative to ask questions, learn, train and facilitate job progress
- Perform such other additional tasks as needed
- Support staff in addressing day-to-day challenges in relation to overall project goals
Knowledge and Skills:

- Self-starter who is capable of working both independently and part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD

Compensation range is $80,000 to $110,000 depending upon relevant experience, ability to add value and demonstrated dedication.
