Jones Networking is recruiting for Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join a large food manufacturing facility in Sterling, VA. This role actively troubleshoots, diagnoses and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on production and facilities support equipment and systems. Industrial Maintenance Technician Position Summary:
-Maintain, repair, disassemble and troubleshoot complex processes, high speed packaging machinery, and other manufacturing equipment.
-Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain the operating condition of production and processing machinery and surrounding equipment, including but not limited to hydraulic and pneumatic systems, robotics, motors, pumps, conveying system, cooking equipment, etc.
-Troubleshoot malfunctioning components of processing equipment.
-Read electrical schematics as well as manufacturers maintenance manuals to determine proper operation.
-Maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for machinery in facility.
-Complete accurately and timely documentation of maintenance records, work orders and task records.
-Perform all Lockout Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
-Setup, start-up, adjust and operation of equipment; proper shutdown and changeover as required by company standards and to minimize downtime.
Qualifications Summary:
-Minimum two years experience as a mechanic in an industrial plant or manufacturing facility.
-Troubleshooting experience and repair knowledge of electrical controls, circuits and systems.
-Troubleshooting skills and repair techniques of mechanical and pneumatic components and systems.
-Experience operating high pressure steam boilers, HVAC experience and/or knowledge of pumps / motors.
-PLC programming functions and troubleshooting a plus.
