Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, enhancing their overall dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy of orders.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining room as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bussing tables and clearing dishes.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during peak service times.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any requests or concerns promptly.
- Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen team.
- Clean bathrooms and dining room floors
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary terminology is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
