Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12 Nights)
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry for a 13-week contract assignment in Lexington, KY. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, perform comprehensive assessments, administer treatments, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Med Surg/Telemetry patients.
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
- Educate patients and families on treatments and discharge planning.
- Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and evidence-based nursing practices.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- ADN or ASN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Med Surg and/or Telemetry nursing experience.
- BSN preferred.

Pay: $60.00 - $63.00 per hour
