To be considered, you must have ALL of the following:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Required Certifications:
- ARDMS - Registered Medical Sonographer or ARRT-S - ARRT Sonography
- BLS - Basic Life Support from the American Red Cross or BLS 1 Instructor certification
Experience: Successful completion of a Sonography Training Program clinical experience
Schedule & Incentives:
- Full time night schedule, Tuesday - Friday 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM
- This role is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 and shift differentials

Role Overview:
The Wellstar Health System's Sonography Team is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of patients through advanced ultrasound imaging. The team is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasounds and assisting in guided procedures.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound exams
- Produce clear, diagnostic-quality images for interpretation
- Obtain relevant clinical history and confirm appropriate orders prior to scanning
- Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and comfort throughout the exam
- Clearly explain the purpose and steps of the exam to reduce anxiety and increase cooperation
- Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently
- Contribute to a positive, cooperative team environment
