Overview
The Network & Cybersecurity Administrator is responsible for the administration, security, and reliability of United Energy Corporation’s enterprise network and cybersecurity infrastructure supporting corporate office locations and remote users. This role plays a key part in protecting systems, data, and users by implementing and maintaining modern security controls, monitoring for threats, responding to incidents, and ensuring secure network connectivity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Cybersecurity & Security Operations
· Serves as a primary administrator for enterprise cybersecurity platforms and security controls protecting corporate systems and office networks.
· Administers, monitors, and responds to security events using endpoint detection and response (EDR) technologies, including CrowdStrike.
· Implements and manages Cato Networks solutions to provide secure access, SD-WAN, firewall-as-a-service, and secure connectivity for office locations, remote users, and cloud services.
· Participates in security incident detection, investigation, containment, remediation, and post-incident analysis.
· Performs vulnerability scanning, risk assessments, and remediation planning in coordination with IT and security stakeholders.
· Administers identity and access management (IAM) controls, including user provisioning, role-based access, authentication, and privileged access.
· Supports disaster recovery, business continuity, and cybersecurity incident response planning and testing.
· Ensures compliance with enterprise security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
· Recommends and implements improvements to systems, network, and security configurations to enhance resilience and reduce risk.
Network Administration & Infrastructure
· Administers, maintains, and secures enterprise network infrastructure supporting corporate office locations, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, and secure remote connectivity.
· Designs, implements, and supports secure network architectures aligned with enterprise standards and business needs.
· Monitors network performance, availability, and security; performs troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
· Supports secure connectivity for branch offices, remote employees, and cloud-based services.
· Creates and maintains network and security architecture diagrams, configurations, and technical documentation.
· Defines requirements for office network closets and data rooms, including cabling, power, and layout.
Operational Support & Governance
· Participates in incident, problem, change, and security management processes.
· Provides on-call support for network, security, and infrastructure incidents outside of normal business hours.
· Maintains asset lifecycle management for network, security, and infrastructure hardware and software.
· Stays current with cybersecurity threats, networking technologies, and industry best practices through training, research, and professional development.
Pay: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
