Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Porter/Housekeeper to join our dynamic facilities team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of common areas, offices, restrooms, residents rooms, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct janitorial tasks such as trash removal, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and other floor care procedures to ensure a polished appearance
- Assist with custodial responsibilities including window cleaning, carpet cleaning, and minor repairs as needed
- Support facilities maintenance activities such as light repairs, furniture moving, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Provide industrial cleaning support when required for larger-scale or specialized cleaning projects
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained for efficiency and safety
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on commercial or residential environments
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks and support facilities maintenance activities
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and safety standards
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment safety procedures is preferred
This is a full time position that requires weekend availability and flexibility with schedule, including holidays.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
