Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings to enhance customer options
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow proper food handling procedures during meal preparation and service to ensure safety and quality
- Support the team during busy hours by assisting with food service and ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Uphold high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene throughout all kitchen activities
Skills
- Proven experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry best practices
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Experience with menu planning, catering, and fine dining environments is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Exceptional teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving customers and supporting colleagues
