American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a Level I Trauma, Teaching hospital requiring at least 3 years of experience, circulator experience, and on-call availability.

Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
-
Operating Room unit in a Level I Trauma, Teaching, and Children's acute care hospital with 554 staffed beds
-
Patient ratio of 1:1
-
2–3 weekend shifts required per month
-
On-call is required, consisting of 24–36 hours per month on day shift (details available upon discussion with OR leadership)

No floating required

Charting is performed in Cerner
-
Purple scrubs are provided by the facility
-
No parking fee
-
Active NM or Compact RN license required; pending license will be accepted

BLS certification required (no RQI certifications accepted)
-
Minimum of 3 years of OR RN experience required

Level I Trauma experience required
-
Circulator experience required
-
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

RTO requests exceeding 7 days require approval

All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront

A 6-month break is required for travelers who have worked 4 consecutive assignments at this facility or reached the one-year mark, whichever comes first

COVID vaccination is optional; however, the facility is required to report vaccine numbers — documentation of vaccination series or a signed declination form must be provided

New contracts and extensions must be a minimum of 10 weeks in length
