At Physicians' Clinic of Iowa, we are focused on delivering quality patient care. Our Urology Department is currently seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN to deliver care that is second to none in our high volume-fast paced practice.
Primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

Working along with providers in a clinic setting.

Room patients and prepare patients for provider examination.

Assist providers during in-office medical procedures.
-
Prepare and administer vaccines and injections.

Record and maintaining records of vitals and other pertinent patient health data.

Record and follow up on laboratory and diagnostic test results, including patient communication.

Patient education on upcoming procedures, treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care.

Manage patient communication, including returning phone calls, answering questions, scheduling tests/procedures, changes in medications, and coordinating prescription refills.
Qualifications:

Medical certification/license is required.

CPR certification is required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Strong Commitment to patient care and teamwork.

Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.

Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems.

Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
