Rental Manager
Boat Sport Marina Inc is a small business with a long-term vision. We are looking for a team member who is eager to learn and grow with our company. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, reliable, and hardworking. We have over 40 rental boats in the summer to rent and over 40 snowmobiles in the winter.
Rental Manager duties and responsibilities:
- Manage our summer work crew of 20+ employees.
- Assign jobs or tasks to your rental staff, such as cleaning boats in summer, yard work or inside work.
- Manage our on-line booking system for rentals.
- Organize and assign rental boats being rented for upcoming days.
- Greet customers as they enter the rental property and assist them in completing the check-in process.
- Ensure that the units are ready for use.
- Ensure that the units are clean and dry and ready for use.
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests, including answering questions about our units, equipment, and policies
- Maintain a positive work environment by following company policies and procedures
- Report any maintenance issues to management to be remedied or addressed
- Preform minor mechanical work such as winterization, summarization of boats, and changing of props.
- Deep cleaning of Rental Boats in the off season.
- Other duties as assigned by management to maintain company standards and improve customer service
- Capable to backup, launch and deliver boats.
- Maintain a good driving record
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or other related fields is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility in demands and deadlines.
- Ability to learn quickly in a team setting.
- Ability to problem solve and think effectively in certain situations
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work weekends and longer hours in high season.
- Boating and Snowmobiling experience is helpful
- Must have a valid drivers license, boater and snowmobile safety certificate

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
