At Children's Learning Place, we believe that the early years are the foundation for a lifetime of learning. We are seeking a dedicated leader who is passionate about supporting the growth and development of children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old while also mentoring and empowering teachers to reach their full potential.
Qualifications:
- DCFS qualified: Associates or higher degree with 21 credits in Early Childhood Development with one class being in ECE Admin/Management/Leadership- Please send a copy of college transcripts when applying.
- DCFS and Health Department requires physical, TB test, proof of MMR's and T-dap vaccinations on the DCFS form (if hired, will go over paperwork)

What You'll Do
As our Early Childhood Director, you will:
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of our early learning center.
- Create and maintain a warm, safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children and families.
- Support the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children from infancy through preschool.
- Inspire, coach, and mentor teachers, helping them grow professionally and strengthen their classroom practices.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, positivity, and continuous learning.
- Build strong relationships with families and serve as a trusted partner in their child's educational journey.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and center policies.
- Recruit, train, and retain exceptional early childhood educators.
- Promote a high-quality learning environment that reflects best practices in early childhood education.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate:
- Is Director Qualified according to state licensing requirements.
- Has a genuine passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Loves supporting and developing teachers through coaching, mentorship, and leadership.
- Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Has experience managing an early childhood program or educational team.
- Builds positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
