Applicants should meet the following responsibilities and requirements when considering application for this position:
Driving Tasks Include:
- Maintain a monthly route and service schedule
- Maintain vehicle via pre and post trip inspections, manage truck integrity and report necessary vehicle maintenance to supervisor
- Perform deliveries of chemical products and collection/exchange of empty drums at client locations
- Maintain DOT logs and vehicle inspections
- Load and unload delivery vehicle
- Maintain and submit daily delivery documentation
- Prime pumping and dispensing equipment upon swap out
- Visual inspection and reporting of installed equipment at client sites
- May include onsite testing of water to balance chemistries when swapping drums
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
Technical Tasks Include:
- Executing safe and efficient route deliveries to contracted clients across our service territory - St. Louis Metropolitan Area
- DOT compliant Class C CDL with HazMat endorsement required
- Assisting in servicing of chemical treatment systems at client locations
- Ensuring proper system functionality at each stop
- Routine inspection and basic maintenance of equipment at client locations
Secondary Tasks Include:
- Receiving incoming chemical shipments
- Preparing delivery vehicle for routes
- Emergency service assistance
Qualifications:
- Strong, steady work history
- Exceptional communication skills
- Self-motivated, dependable and reliable
- Adaptable to situational changes and emergency service needs
- Physical ability to install, service and maintain equipment in varying work environments
- Experience and mechanical ability with hand tools, power tools and basic machinery
Requirements:
- Valid Class C CDL with HazMat endorsement
- Clean driving record, applicants must supply a copy of current MVR
- Valid DOT medical card
- Adherence to DOT drug testing requirements
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Adaptable to route changes and emergency service needs
